artwork update!

Here we are folks, another weekend done and some more things added to the Gallery!

As things have settled now that I have the site up and running, I have taken some much needed mental health time to recover, so now i can focus on getting back to work, which is absolutely crucial for the flow of creative ink!

I am still looking into the Newsletter stuff, I aim to get that up and running hopefully in the next month or so, right now however my big focus is on making more art both for the website as well as in general.

lets see, what else… OH! I know! I recently purchased two new books that I have been enjoying quite a bit [and no, neither of them are the Necronomicon, i already have a copy of that]

The first one is called "Framed Ink” By Marcos Mateu-Mestre, which talks about Drawing and Composition for visual storytellers.

The second is “How to draw comics the Marvel way” by John Buscema and the late great Stan Lee himself. Those men are absolute legends in the comic scene, and i am very happy to have learning material from such great sources.

For those of you who are not aware, I did not go to any formal school for art, I have learned what i have from trial and error, and many hours of YouTube consumption, as well as the myriad of other books i have on anatomy and drawing in general. You would think with the amount of time i have spent on things that i would have a better grasp on visual storytelling than i do, but let me tell you, its different when you aren’t just doing a One off piece.

I have so much more to learn yet as I am just getting started doing this kind of stuff, but I am very excited to have you guys along for the ride with me on this!
